Learning using augmented reality is not new in most of the geography around the world by this time. But if you just going to rewind some 3 or 4 years back it has started taking the boom, especially in the kid’s segment.
By the year 2020, we have seen a lot of applications using the augmenting reality in the learning methodology. I remember some years back when I was trying to demo the same to some of the senior educationists here in India, the augmented reality learning was considered as a gimmick(just the mode to attract the student).
This was different at that time no one really treats that tech can be introduced in the education system it was considered as the “ICING ON CAKE” and not the “CAKE”.
Covid-19 has changed the face of the education system @least here in India what it looks like. Now the digitalization is also considered as one of the major steps in the learning methodology. But the question comes..
ARE WE READY FOR SUCH DIGITAL LEANRING MEDIUM?
There is a lot different in the saying and doing. To rephrase the context let me say there are two types of people in the world, thinkers, and doers. Converting the primitive learning methodology and changing the flow of the water is not the solution seems this can be a part of the diversion.
If we correlate every event in the field of education happens in the flow means from the stone-age learning that is writing on the wall to the 90’s classroom i.e. writing on the blackboard to early 20’s i.e. delivering the lecture on the whiteboard and finally to the digital boards where we have a stylus and pressure-sensitive surfaces to explain the concept or problem.
NOW IF I UNDERSTOOD THE PROBLEM CORRECTLY EVERY EDUCATIONAL NEED ARE GENERATED BASED ON THE EXISTING PROBLEM OR SOLUTION HAPPEN AROUND BASED ON THE PRESENT PROBLEM.
So to summarise the problem or to understand the need in learning is that always there some physical solution requires to make the understanding much better and deeper.

I might sound little orthodox in the thinking but this is true. We love hardbound books to read and write and we don’t want this is carried away with time (eventually this happens with time >.<).
