Rattus World

Rat belongs to the genus called Rattus. These are the medium-sized long-tailed rodent. The simulation covers the phases/life cycle of rat from the junevile phase to adult phase. Rattus AR is a Rat Anatomy application which provides the interactive and engaging learning experience of the Rattus. The application consists of the two-section:

AR Anatomy Mode: This consist of the 9 anatomical stages of the rat. Mainly, Outer Skin, Skeleton, Muscules, Nervous, Circulatory, Reproduction (male/female), Respiratory & Excretion. It consists of the detail studies of labels of each organ and functionality associated with each.

AR Dissection Model: A rat dissection is a cost-effective lab activity that allows students to study the components and systems of a mammalian specimen.

Rat Anatomy

Rats are scavengers. They have an excellent sense of taste and a good memory. An adult rats generally matures in 5 to 6 weeks from the time they are born.
Rats have a skeleton made of bones connected with joints and cartilage, just like we do. The skeleton of vertebrates is composed primarily of bone. This bony structure provide support to there body structure.
Unlike like human rat also consists of the spinal cord connected to the central nervous system. They have there own motor sensory skill & because of this reason they can identify certain substance, including the rat poison.
The general structure of the circulatory system of the rat is almost identical to that of humans. Pulmonary circulation carries blood through the lungs for oxygenation and then back to the heart. For blood circulation in the body rats have the vein and artery.
Study about the respiration rate of the rat and see how their lungs are helpful in the respiration process. The respiratory system is composed of the mouth or external nares, the pharynx, glottis, trachea, bronchi, bronchioles and alveoli.
Learn about the reproductive organ inside the male & female rat body. Also, see the difference between the two.

Rat Dissection

Rat is vertebrate closely related to the human as these are the rodent who have the same body part which human carry. Rat dissection is always a very important topic in learning the morphology and anatomy of the body structure. Adult rats are usually dissected in the labs to perform such learning. Rattus AR application support NO DISSECTION using the technology like Augmented Reality so as to perform the dissection without harming the innocent creature.

Learning the dissection in Augmented Reality is the first kind of the learning experience that Avidia Labs brings to students. The application covers the intermediary steps to perform the dissection and it’s importance all using the digital medium to convey the message.

Froggie World

Frog is the amphibians who are found near to the water body, swamp land or rainy area. These species are large of carnivorous nature and usually, feed on the insects & flys. Learn about the life cycle of the frog from the egg, tadpole, froglet & adult frog. Each phase is unique and it deals with the metamorphosis of the frog structure.

Frog Anatomy

Frogs have glandular skin, with secretions ranging from distasteful to toxic. Their skins varies in colour from well-camouflaged dappled brown, grey and green to vivid patterns of bright red or yellow and black to show toxicity and ward off predators.
Frogs have long, strong back legs, with extra joints so they can fold up close to the body. Tails would get in the way when jumping, so frogs do not have one. They have a short backbone (spine), with a large hip bone to support their powerful leg muscles.
Frogs have a highly developed nervous system that consists of a brain, spinal cord and nerves. This means they can sense & identify the substance.
Frog heart is not the same as a human heart but it has also had chambers like the human heart. Instead of having 4 chamber heart, frogs are having 3 chamber heart to carry the oxygenated blood and deoxygenated blood from the whole body.
Frog is a special creature which uses both three option of respiration which includes the lining of the mouth which is wet most of the time, through lungs & also respiration through the skin.
Unlike like human frog also use the kidney for the excretion purpose. They have the pair of the kidney which is majorly used for taking the liquid waste away from the body in the form of urine.

Frog Dissection

Frog dissection is one of the topics to learn about the anatomy of the adult amphibian. The only reason to do the dissection is to learn the similarity between the body part and there functioning with human’s body part & their functionality. Avidia Dissection brings a unique way to approach this problem without killing any innocent amphibian. Our digital learning solution provides the dissection in the 3D & VR mode where one can perform the digital dissection on the google cardboard and learn the steps of performing the dissection into the immersive world.

Each dissection module covers the step by step guidelines to perform the required actions. Also, give the acknowledgment on performing the correct steps in dissecting the adult frog.
